Local Produce

About Local Produce

We believe it is important that we support our own local farmers and others wherever possible as well as Third World producers. Choosing to eat food sourced locally has a beneficial effect in many ways, including helping the local economy by bringing a genuine sustainability to the issue of food production; maintaining employment in rural areas where jobs can be hard to find; and providing an insight for consumers into the unique link between the countryside, its upkeep, their food and the cycle it is produced on.

Farming’s future lies in people understanding this direct relationship between the environment and the food that comes from the British countryside they either live in or enjoy travelling through and staying in.
