“Fairtrade Pancake Evening and Big Brew”!
In the spirit of Fairtrade Fortnight, please join us:-
On Tuesday 24 February (Shrove Tuesday – Pancake Day!)
7pm onwards At St Michael’s Centre – behind the Church.

To sample pancakes – no limit as to number! With Fairtrade accompaniments and also Big Brew tea & coffee and fellowship and meet friends.

All for – Minimum £2 adults £1 children (We aim for a surplus to support ‘Timothée from Tombouctou’ study and living expenses whilst in the UK).

Big Banana Munch for Cherry Burton Primary School children only, Friday March 6th.
Helping to break a record by joining people all over the world eating a Fairtrade banana between noon on Friday March 6th and noon on Saturday March 7th.

Wednesday March 4th and Thurday 5th March.
Youth groups will be indulging in a variety of banana related activities during their evening meetings!

Film ‘Black Gold’ March 6th 7.30 – 9pm.
Coffee and showing of ‘Black Gold’. This film won many accolades on release last year. It is an eye-opening expose of the multi-billion dollar coffee industry and one man’s fight for a fair price. Black Gold travels from Ethiopia to Seattle to reveal the stirring story behind our daily cuppa.
