Once again local farmers will be bringing their produce close to home as the Fairtrade and Local Produce Group hosts a “Mini Farmers Market” in Cherry Burton Village Hall. Doors will open from 7pm – 9pm on Tuesday 30th November 2010 and stalls will provide an opportunity for some special Christmas shopping with a choice of lamb, beef, pork, duck and goose, honey, cold-pressed rape seed oil, bread and bakery products, vegetables, preserves, cheese, beers, liqueurs, cordials and juices, with orders being taken for that special Christmas delivery. Entry is free, and there will be refreshments and a raffle, so come along and enjoy quality local food – it’s miles better!
